Dynamique Bi Ski

• Versatile Sizing One frame size fits everyone from 4'1" to 6'3".
• Lightweight Built from aircraft grade aluminum, the complete ski still weighs less than 45 lbs with a size large seat.
• Ride Height We've given skiers the best of both worlds. We've added an inch of suspension travel while keeping the ride height at sag within 3/16" of earlier generations and then we engineered a second ride height that rides less than 8 inches off the snow bridging many of the benefits of the Bi-Unique within the more modern platform of the Dynamique.
• Adjustments All adjustments use quick pins, clamps or threaded inserts to eliminate fumbling with nuts and wrenches. The new seat angle bracket uses larger bolts for adjusting seat angle to lessen the chances of cross threading while all seats now mount directly on rivnuts. The new standardized philosophy means any of our fiberglass seat sizes can be swapped in under a minute with a common #3 Phillips screw driver. The footrest is still made from durable thermoformed plastic but we've secured hold with a larger 2" wide strap. The footrest length is still adjusted along the horizontal axis so smaller skiers maintain a low center of gravity and taller skiers do not have to worry about the footrest bucketing out. The skier's ankle angle is quickly adjustable thanks to quick release clamps.
• Kinematics Most bi skis use single pivot suspensions, the Dynamique uses A-arms like higher performing mono skis. We've added an inch of suspension travel to the standard 7th gen. 100mm (4") of travel is driven by a RockShox Vivid Ultimate Coil shock offering unprecedented tuning including the usual rebound, low / high speed compression while also adding hydraulic bottom out control. New A-arm and shock geometry move in a more predictable parallel manner while increasing suspension leverage 7%. The low ride height has 50mm (2") of travel driven by a RockShox Deluxe Ultimate Air Shock offering straight forward low compression and rebound tuning.
• Chairlift The chairlift load height of the standard 7th gen remains relatively unchanged from 5th and 6th gens, but the new A-arms lessen forward tip pressure and improve balance in the up position. We've added 30% more lift force making it easier than ever to lift into the up position. The low ride height loads the chairlift roughly 2" lower than the standard ride height. This is for skiers who struggle independently using the standard chairlift load height but still have goals to lift themselves into the up position, push out the chairlift and load the chairlift without help. The Dynamique's signature "tensioned" load system that allows a skier to unlock before load and sit themselves down on the chairlift remains tried and true. The Dynamique's lift system moves the shock out of the way allowing the skier to sit all the way back against the chair while the industry’s largest skid plate facilitates getting on off. By moving the load components into the upper frame, we eliminated cables and better protected the system from snow and ice.
• Clam Shell Seating System Our infusion molded fiberglass seats are substantially stiffer, ski superior, and fit better than our original co-polymer plastic offerings. The Clam Shell Seating System has an adjustable back angle which is ideal for sit skis with chairlift loading systems, programs who fit many different skiers, and individuals dialing in their skiing. Convenient for programs, our Clam Shell Seating System is interchangeable between the Dynamique, Monique and Pique.
• NRG Seating System is an option for skiers that require a high level of upper body and head support. Each seat is finished with over the shoulder / waist / thigh straps for security and side handles for instructors. The seat comes predrilled for the Dynamique Bi Ski and includes an NRG specific adjustable dump bracket.
• Mega III Skis The Mega III Skis employ the same proven shape, side cut and camber as the Mega II's but with an improved flex pattern.  A stiffer core throughout adds the stability and performance needed for a suspension bi ski. They also make loading and unloading the chairlift easier.
• Accessories Everything from outriggers to handles are available to help make your experience even better and can be found here. Footrests, handles and most accessories are interchange-able amongst all gens. The only accessory unique to 7th gen is it's new fixed outriggers.

The Dynamique Bi Ski comes with a variety of choices to accommodate a wide range of ability levels and unique customer needs. Below we provide insight and  recommendations to help you with those choices. 

Ride Height

• The standard ride height has 100mm (4") of suspension travel with a coil shock. We've managed to add an inch of suspension travel while keeping the ride height at sag within 3/16" of earlier generations
• The low ride height is a new offering to initially make bi skiing safer and more approachable for skiers who have independent ambitions. It trades the coil shock for a shorter air shock that lowers the ride height by reducing suspension travel. It rides less than 8 inches off the snow bridging many of the benefits of the Bi-Unique within the more modern platform of the Dynamique. 
• Adaptive programs can select the standard ride height for coil options and then add on the air shock as an accessory, allowing you to convert your Dynamique's ride height back and forth within minutes.

Seat

• No Seat (frame only) is perfect for programs with extra seats or individuals with their own seating system. 
• Our infusion molded fiberglass Clam Shell Seating Systems are substantially stiffer, ski superior, and fit better than our original co-polymer plastic offerings. The Clam Shell Seating System has an adjustable back angle which is ideal for sit skis with chairlift loading systems, programs who fit many different skiers, and individuals dialing in their skiing. Convenient for programs, our Clam Shell Seating System is interchangeable between the Dynamique, Monique and Pique.
• The NRG Seating System is an option for skiers that require a high level of upper body and head support. Each seat is finished with over the shoulder / waist / thigh straps for security and side handles for instructors. The seat comes predrilled for the Dynamique Bi Ski and includes an NRG specific adjustable dump bracket. The low ride height is not optioned with NRG Seating Systems because the low ride height is targeted for independent skiers. If interested in an NRG Seating System, please select the standard ride height.

Seat Size

• We measure seat size by the shell width at the hips. This measurement takes a thin liner and padding into account.

Clam Shell Seating System Seat Back Setup

• At 22" tall from the seat bottom, the High Back offering provides additional support for those who need it, while a relatively flatter back profile allows those who don't need it to still achieve separation without the sides digging in. It is a program conscious shape that allows one seat to better serve a wider range of individuals. The High Back has chest strap mounting provisions and includes a Limiter Strap. The Limiter Strap is a Velcro strap that provides a "set and forget" way to remember where the seat back angle was.
• The Basic Chest Strap is an add on for the High Back. It can be adjusted up and down 2" in height to better match a skier's needs. Combined with the Limiter Strap the setup provides unprecedented shell support for skiers using chest restraints and allows these skiers to pressure the tip of the ski like never before with an adjustable seat.
• At 14" tall from the seat bottom, the Low Back offering is a contoured choice for skiers with enough abdomen strength. It does not have chest strap mounting provisions. It does not include a Chest Strap or Limiter Strap.

Footrest

• 5-7” – 6’3”+ = Large. The Large slides into the frame and has 4” of length adjustment. Taller skiers can be accommodated by increasing the seat dump angle and tucking their knees more.
• 5’0” – 5’8” skier height = Medium. The Medium also slides into the frame and has 4” of length adjustment. It ends one hole after where the large footrest begins.
• 4’1” – 5’1” skier height = Small. The Small is different in that it attaches to the upper frame with tube clamps. It must be used with the additional U-Loop. The U-Loop provides structural protection to the frame.

Instructor Handle

• The Narrow Handle has a slimmer profile to promote tangle free tethering. It is the preferred choice for predominantly tethered skiers.
• The Wide Handle is ergonomically shaped like a mountain bike handlebar. It is the preferred choice for predominately hands on skiers. 
• The U-Loop Handle is for independent skiers who occasionally need a ski buddy's help in the lift line or flat sections of trail.

Shock Spring Weight

• We've expanded the spring offerings to accomodate more skiers than ever before. Below are our recommendations. More aggressive skiers may find they enjoy jumping up a spring weight from recommended.
• Under 110 lbs = 225lb spring
• 110 - 140 lbs = 300lb spring
• 140 - 185 lbs = 400lb spring
• 185 - 230 lbs = 500lb spring
• 230 - 275 lbs = 600lb spring (Requires a Heavy Duty Frame Style selection)
• 300lb / 400lb / 500lb Spring Bundle is recommended for programs with multiple seat sizes.
• You do not need to select a Shock Spring Weight with the low ride height. Each air shock comes with a high pressure shock pump to set sag for different weight skiers.

Frame Style

• The High Frame style is our standard and most popular option. It comes with tether locations and includes choice of instructor handle for aiding skiers.
• The Heavy Duty High Frame beefs up the upper frame. When a Heavy Duty frame is paired with a 600lb spring, the Dynamique's weight limit can now be increased to 275 lbs up from the usual 230 lbs.
• The Heavy Duty High Frame for T-Bar Quick Release Kits uses the same beefed up the upper frame, but also adds welded provisions for mounting T-Bar Quick Release Kits.

Color

• The standard color is Fire Red. The upper frame and A-Arms will be powder coated in this color. Standard color orders will come with red shock springs.
• Select custom colors are available for a $100 surcharge. They include Seafoam, Quicksand, Green, Gold and Purple. Select custom color orders will come with red shock springs. This may add 2-3 weeks to orders.
• Desire something else? The Dynamique can be custom powder coated other colors for $250. Specify in the notes box and we will contact you. When inventory allows, custom color requests will come with black shock springs if desired. This may add 3-4 weeks to orders.
• Note: The load link and lower frame are anodized black. We do not offer powder coating on these parts.

Accessories

• Adding a RockShox Deluxe Ultimate Air Shock to a standard coil shock order allows you to convert your Dynamique's ride height back and forth within minutes.
• Selecting the Heavy Duty High Frame Style for T-Bar Quick Release Kits adds welded provisions that enables the ability to add a kit to your order. Essential for Europe and Canada, the kit allows skiers to ride a T-Bar/Rope-Tow style chairlift hands-free. It includes one short pull string for the skier and one long pull string if a ski buddy is assisting.
• The NEXGen Fixed Outriggers are a transformational accessory for bi skiers that can not use hand held outriggers. Their progressive spring loaded tips lengthen engagement time reducing impact, providing a smoother ride and safer skiing experience.
• The Skier Handlebar is often paired with NEXgen Fixed Outriggers and perfect for engaging skiers whose disability does not allow them to use handheld outriggers.

The Dynamique Bi Ski has a user weight limit of 230 lbs. The standrad coil shock, a 600lb spring and heavy duty frame style paired the user weight limit can be raised to 275 lbs. The Dynamique is covered under our Adaptive Skiing Equipment Warranty. While similar to earlier gens and other sit skis, several key features make the 7th gen unique.
